Our school and group tour is a "Hands On Adventure," providing a unique opportunity for students to learn about animals in an "up close and personal" experience.
The adventure starts at the Petting Farm Barn, where you meet and learn about our extended family of animals, including miniature horses, barnyard cats, miniature donkeys, sheep, camels, alpaca, miniature zebus, goats and peacocks. We pride ourselve on having one of the cleanest petting farms anywhere, although students will be encouraged to wash their hands, and we'll discuss why this is important.
All students will have an opportunity to pet and feed the animals.
Next, students climb aboard the Apple Express for a narrated ride through the Apple Orchard.
Everyone will learn about apples and the other fruit in our orchards.
The Apple Express will stop at a special orchard where students have the opportunity to pick your own apples to bring home.
The next stop is the teepee. Inside, you will hear the story, "The Little Red House, With No Doors, No Windows, and a Star Inside." After the story, everyone will enjoy apple cider and our homemade apple cinnamon donuts.
Tours are $3.50 per person. Teacher and 1 aide are free. Parents and siblings are required to pay. See the link below to make your reservation.
