This is the field trip for your students if you want to enjoy the farm experience at your own pace. You can pick your own arrival time, have a picnic lunch at the farm, and enjoy some of our activities.

What’s cluckin’ in our outdoor classroom!
A special highlight of our field trips is an Ag in the Classroom presentation at the Country Cluckin’ Chicken Revue! Yep, our chickens will chirp and sing to you as you learn which came first — the chicken or the egg. It’s educational and amusing, and our lesson finale is … the Chicken Dance!
It’s only $6.00 per person!
Teacher and one aide per classroom are admitted free.
Students, all other staff, chaperones, parents and siblings (all that can walk!) must pay field trip admission fee.
Good to know …
- One BumpAlong Barrel Train token is included for each participant.
- Bring your own picnic lunch or purchase lunches at the farm.
- Educational wagon rides are at set times throughout the day, i.e., on the hour.
- Teachers will get one bag of animal food to distribute to the whole group.
- A fresh Apple Cinnamon donut from our Bakery and one juice will be provided for each paid person.
Quick Reminder for Teachers
It is your responsibility to have enough chaperones for your field trip, as this will be a self-guided tour. We want it to go smoothly for everyone! Please request that your chaperones stay with their assigned group at all times.
