Lewis Farm Market Contests!
In our 2012 season, Lewis Farm Market and Petting Farm will have several exciting contests where you can win fame and fun prizes:
Scarecrow Building Contest!
Scarecrows will be popping up at the farm this year, to raise money for two charities: No More Sidelines and The Crystal Valley Care Fund. We are making this a community event so everyone can get involved! Farm Friends, Businesses, Employees and 3 local schools will be building
scarecrows to raise money and to showcase their talent. So join the fun, get creative and help two great causes!
2012 Scarecrow Contest: It’s easy, follow our contest rules and have fun! Bring your scarecrow to the farm by 9/1/2012.

Local Businesses: Local businesses will be building scarecrows and showcasing them outside their business. You can donate money at the business or wait until they come to the farm on October 1. We will be holding an auction at the farm on October 13. Be sure to pick out your favorite and be ready to bid so you can take one home and decorate
your yard.
Area Schools: Three local school Art Classes will be showcasing their talent by painting pumpkins and building scarecrows. All their hard work will be displayed at the farm beginning October 1 and will be auctioned off on October 13. Prizes will be awarded! Come vote for your favorite!
Photo Contest
Photo entries will be accepted starting September 1, 2012. Submission deadline is 5 p.m. October 31, 2012. Winners will be announced on facebook on November 9, 2012. All submissions must be digital, jpg format, and a minimum resolution of 600 pixels.
